Three people who have been taking part on a ‘Routes into Work’ programme with Fusion21 have managed to secure permanent jobs with local contractor JC Construction.
All were unemployed 6 months or more before attending the Routes to Work programme that is being funded through Liverpool Community College.
During the course candidates gain qualifications in First Aid, CIEH Health & Safety Level 2, CSCS Card, Manual Handling, U.K.A.T.A Asbestos Accreditation and COSHH. They also attend workshops which cover subjects such as team building, equal opportunities and motivation & barriers. All delivered with an aim to help people get work ready.
Fusion21 and JC Construction held interviews with all of the candidates taking part on the Routes to Work Programme. The three successful candidates were, Ryan Stubbs who joins the company as an apprentice Joiner, Kayleigh Wilkie as an Electrician and Ben Weaver as a Plumber
