Insulation Systems and Materials Agreement Now Live

The second Agreement from Retrofit for Housing encompasses Insulation and Airtightness. The framework will cover the supply and/or installation of the energy efficiency products in the following categories:

-Internal wall insulation
-External wall insulation
-Loft insulation for 'more advanced applications'
-Air tightness and draught-proofing products

These products are all installed as part of a low carbon refurbishment package for existing housing stock helping to make them energy-efficient and reduce carbon emissions.

The Insulation and Air Tightness Agreement has used extensive research and set exacting standards for suppliers to fulfill in order to ensure effectiveness, safety and low U-values. Extensive research and development has enabled Fusion21 and PfH to deliver a fully EU compliant framework that can deliver the sector value for money whilst offering the most modern and effective Insulations systems in the marketplace.

Due to the nature of the Agreement, the contract was awarded in two lots to 18 Suppliers. Lot 1 is for 'Supply Only', for which 8 Suppliers have been awarded, some of whom are manufacturers whose products are available via the Merchants/Distributors also awarded in Lot 1. Lot 2 is for 'Supply and Install', for which 11 Suppliers/Contractors have been awarded.
