Last week Fusion21 celebrated winning the 2009 Women In Construction 'Lifetime Achievement award' by showing their continuing support for the event by sponsoring the drinks reception.

The awards took place at the Palace Hotel in Manchester, Fusion21’s Chief Executive Dave Neilson was invited back as a special judge this year due to Fusion21’s past success.

The annual Women In Construction awards honour and acknowledge the important achievements of women in an industry that is traditionally dominated by men. The awards are a great opportunity for the construction industry to come together and celebrate the achievements of women who are making a real difference in the sector.

This year Professor Li Shirong, President of the Charted Institute of Building, the institute’s first ever female president, joined Fusion21 in becoming a Lifetime Achievement Winner.

Fusion21 were pleased to be supported at the event by some of our key partners and associates. All guests thoroughly enjoyed their night and we would like to thank them for their continued support.
