Recruitment success for Helena Partnerships

From a large number of applications, five apprentices were selected and completed a comprehensive 3 week training course at Fusion21's Building Skills Centre before starting full time employment with Helena Propertycare. The five apprentices will work across Helena Partnerships in a variety of roles including Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Joiner, Tiler, Electrician and a Heating and Ventilation Engineer.
Trainee Anthony Scully is now one of the five looking to the future:
"The Fusion21 training course was a really useful experience and prepared me for the workplace in Helena Partnerships. I feel that with the positive attitude and support from my work colleagues and mentors, my future with Helena Partnerships looks promising and rewarding."
The graduation ceremony took place at Fusion21's Building Skills Centre where the apprentices were welcomed into Helena Partnerships by Chief Executive Rob Young and his senior management team.
Haydn Hansford, Head of Helena Propertycare, commented:
"The training and hands-on experience provided by Fusion21 gave the apprentices grounding to the world of work and has enabled them to be focused and confident when they joined Helena Propertycare. We will be adopting the same approach with Fusion 21 when we recruit apprentices in the future”
Phil Douglas, Fusion21's Integration Manager for Skills, commented:
"We're over the moon that Helena Partnerships chose to use Fusion21 Skills to recruit its apprentices. This heralds the start of much closer working in the area of training, recruitment and development between the two organisations."
